Chapter three
I woke up my whole body felt sore the last thing I remembered was…I fainted on the road. I stood up from the mat I was lying on and I stared to wonder how I got here.
I looked around and surveyed the room then I saw a woman sleeping on a chair. I tried to escape without waking the woman but when I reached for the door I heard a voice saying “oh! You are awake”
I turned to face the person who was talk. She looked like a woman in her late forties. She had a smile on her face and she asked me where was I going to from here,to be honest,I had no idea where I was going I just went where ever the wind took me and where my feet directed me.
For a moment I felt like I could trust this woman but I didn’t answer her question because I was too tired and deranged with hungry to reply. She asked me about my parents I simply told her ”they’re DEAD”. She looked at me with sadness in her eyes. She then said, I know you may not trust me but don’t worry you can stay as long as you won’t
You know,we have something alike,I have no family and you have no family. I lost my husband and daughter in a car accident and I have been lonely ever since.
I was walking on the road and I saw a body on the floor. I thought you were dead but I checked your pulse and you were perfectly fine. I guessed you were just weak and you looked just like my daughter. My spirit and mind told me to bring you in. So I brought you to my humble home.
In case your wondering how you got here, that’s how. I listened to her story and I felt pity for the poor woman and I made up mind to stay,to stay with her. I ask for her name and she simply told me that I could call her Helen.
As if I could read her mind she ask my name. My name is Alexandra.
